The government should increase subsidy on the purchase of electric vehicles. Electric vehicle have zero emissions. The quality of the air will improve drastically. This will reduce respiratory problems, meaning the burden on hospitals is reduced. When in 2011, PN government introduced schemes for solar panels, several households applied and benefitted from these schemes. They manage to zero their bills while contribute electricity to the national grid. This is the way forward.
Increase subsidy on electric cars, in a similar way solar panels were introduced. In this way it will be more affordable to invest in electric cars. These have zero emissions. Our health and the health of our children, in particular as regards to respiratory problems, will improve. This will reduce the burden on our hospitals.
