Diesel cars are amongst most polluting, and several European cities are considering banning them. The phasing out could take place over 10 to 20 years so anyone who invested in one recently need not be concerned. Air pollution should become a major concern. Part 2 of this could be much greater investment in the infrastructure required for electric cars (which may one day become self-driving, uber-controlled cars for everyone's benefit).
