A holistic policy to deal with domestic rubbish collection. Example: No more 10's of rubbish bags on our streets....developers of block of more than say 5 units should provide place for a "skip" or other containers to be used by residents. Better villages for all.
I agree wholeheartedly, and passionately, with this idea. Current waste collection system is unhygienic and a pest attraction, unaesthetically pleasing (foreign friends have commented on this), and a potential cause of accidents: I have many a time witnessed mothers with pushchairs having to walk on the street because of pavements being blocked up by binbags awaiting collection. Never have I witnessed such a system in other EU countries; skips are the only alternative.
