Establish an office along the lines of the UK Cabinet Centre for Public Appointments to provide leadership and guidance to ministries both to improve the quality of the appointments process and also to widen the pool of candidates applying for vacancies, thereby increasing the diversity of public boards. The Centre would be responsible for: Promoting public appointments; Improving diversity; Developing policy; Identifying and supporting talent.
