We can easily raise funds to fix our horrible roads by fining careless drivers. I suggest placing traffic wardens or plain clothes officer in strategic crossroads/corners, and mark vehicles that do use the indicator when making a turn, and slap them with a €10 fine each time. Their license should not be renewed until they pay their pending fines. If they are fined more than 5 times, they should be made to attend a 1-hour refresher course on how to drive properly before they renew their licence.
