No tax on first €150K of second property being purchased. (An extension of what already exists for first time buyers). Young couples who would like to upsize because they have now settled in their workplace and can afford a better place to live in should not be taxed in the same way as 1st time buyers are not. We are not talking about having 2 properties at once but when selling the 1st property and buying a new house.
